Hunting Party Podcast 12/10 – 1 Year Hunter Gamecard Giveaway!

Michele Morrow called me over the weekend and told me all about her tour of Blizzard, just to make me jealous, and which sounded ridiculously awesome. Going to try to have her on the podcast this weekend to tell us all about it.
But she also said that she has a 1 year game card that she would like to give away to the hunter community, as a thank you for all the support in her campaign to be Sylvanas in the WoW movie, and for just be awesome in general. The hunter community has been her strongest source of support, and she talked about what an amazing community we have — so much better than any other class in WoW.
So we’re going to have a contest on the WHU to win the 1 year game card. Similar to something really fun we did back in Wrath, it’s going to be a hunter motivational poster contest! You can see some of the hunter posters people made for that one here.

What You Can Win
A 1 year WoW game card.
This can be used to “pay” for your annual pass that gives you a guaranteed position in the Mists of Pandaria beta, Tyrael’s Charger in-game mount, and Diablo III for free. Details on the annual pass special can be found here. YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE CREDIT CARD ON FILE WITH BATTLE.NET.
Note that the game card is only good for North American realms. Sorry EU and Oceanic guys! The card that she has to give away is North America only — nothing we can do about that, and Michele did call Blizzard to verify and see if there was a way around it. You can still enter, however, just for the glory and prizes be damned (just let us know if you aren’t able to use the card when you enter).
The best/funniest poster will win the game card, and we’ll also be featuring a bunch of the best entries on the site, to share the hilarious genius of the hunter community.
If we have too many awesome entries, we may have to generate additional prizes for runners up. These could include other vanity pets, a guest appearance on the Hunting Party Podcast, or whatever else we have lying around.
How to Enter
- Make a hunter-themed motivational poster. You can use this online poster maker — all you need is an image and the text.
- Email the poster to Frostheim with “Poster Contest” in the subject line, tofrostheim@warcrafthuntersunion.com.
- Deadline for entries is December 15th.
You can enter as many times as you want.
How Winners Are Chosen
Frostheim and/or Michele will choose the winners — we haven’t actually worked out how the decision will be made, but I’m going to suggest that we review them while drinking, and whichever one makes us spew the most drink as we laugh wins (bonus points for liquid through the nose). Michele is going into surgery today to have an alien tracking device removed, and is going to be in the hospital for a few days. When she’s conscious once more we’ll figure out the details.
